ME:
I teach piano because I love piano and believe it to be the perfect foundation for a musical education. My musical education started when i was 6 and continued through school and on to uni. I studied piano and music theory through the graded AMEB syllabus and have attained my Associate idiploma in Music Australia, Piano. Every year i continue my professional development through various avenues.
Currently I am a member of the Victorian Music Teacher's Association and hold a Working with Children check.
MY STUDENTS:
I accept students learning purely for pleasure or to progress through the graded AMEB syllabus. Currently taking enrolments children and adult learners.
My piano lessons aim to create musicians who have a good grounding in all aspects of music. We'll cover piano technique, exploration of different musical styles, music theory, the basics of composition/improvisation, rhythm work and aural/listening activities.
I make sure my lessons meet student’s personal goals and interests at their own pace, and we’ll have fun while we’re doing it!
